This is the Air Force’s Project Farside balloon launched rocket flying through it’s balloon.

    Hey thanks guys! I don’t read this (or any other) blog often enough so it took me a few days to see this post. Know that JP aerospace, particularly your rockoon and high-altitude lighter-than-air projects (hyphen city around here) are equally inspiring for those of us with dreams of space.
