Horror of the Heights

You can’t have Star Wars without monsters. Our epic space battle from the Away 66 mission provided one.

Our hero thought he was getting the upper hand but didn’t realize the threat was from above.

The creatures tendrils reached out for the starship.

Even locking the s-foils down didn’t break the X-Wing free from the monster’s malevolent latex clutches.

    The balloon bursts with enough violence to move the wings of the fighter?

    That has to be either a really weak (worn out) set of legos, or something, because I pretty sure (I have a LOT of legos) that it’d break it apart before it moved the wings that way.

    Either way, very cool pics:)

    The wings of the little X-Wing were designed to be adjustable between the two positions. The latex ribbons from the shattered balloon wrap tight enough to even snap the carbon poles. We normally use logger leads (more balloon/vehicle separation to avoid this, however we used left over short rigging from the Samsung missions…
