Great show, John! Very informative. You explained your MHD approach very well, among other things. Thanks.

I listened to the entire interview; it was very informative and a good summary or overview of what we have planned and are working on.

I’v loved watching your progress for the last few years. I just listened to the show. You were awesome and the questions you answered were ones that had been puzzling me for a while. A tangential thing that struck me listening to you is that there’s a lot of 50′s and 60′s technology that no one could find a use for at the time, that modern technology might be able to make practical. The old projects on hypersonic balloons and dirty ion engines you cited are certainly in that vein. To be honest, I used to think you were just plain nuts, but I kept reading the blog anyway because the work you do is so cool. Needless to say, somewhere along the way I started to think, “These guys might just pull it off, after all!”. Still think you’re nuts, but then that’s precisely what’s needed ;) I think its time I dropped down on that book of yours. Keep up the seriously amazing work.

    Steve,

I see you do animation. Maybe you could do some animation for JP Aerospace? All of us volunteers have a little something to contribute to the cause. Those life guards at Kitty Hawk sure thought the Wright brothers were nuts too.

  5. Steven D. says:

    Brad,
This is the first Steve above who commented. I didn’t know you guys were looking for animation. Click on my name and you’ll see a page that John posted about a while ago. It includes images I made in Blender, a animation program, though I didn’t turn them into animations at the time. I’d be happy to take a shot at doing some for you. My email address is on the webpage if you’re interested.
