JP at the Smithsonian

JP will be at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. this Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19. Saturday he will be signing copies of his book “Floating to Space” at the National Mall building. Sunday he’ll be doing the same at the Smithsonian’s other building, The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport.

    I was at the Air & Space Museum last Thursday (on the Mall) and asked in the bookstore if they had “Floating to Space.” I told him there was a book signing next week. He couldn’t find it and suspected they were holding their inventory so they’d have plenty of books for the signing. I recommend they set you up next to the Breitling Orbiter. Its right next to the bookstore and underneath Spaceship One (what a cool place). Be sure to get some pictures!
