JPA on the Discovery Channel

Tonight, September 12, at 10pm we show our stuff on the Discovery Channel. It’s the Project Earth series, the Orbital Power Plant episode.
We designed and flew solar power experiments for the episode.  We flew one to 106,000 feet and the other to 107,000 feet. These were the Away 36 and 37 missions. We also carried a pile of HD cameras. The HD video from the edge of space is stunning. Don’t miss it!

    Watched all of you on the tube tonight !

    Am staying up late , to see the encore , in another few minutes ! Will tip another brew in tribute…You guys looked great , and really made this spaceflight stuff look easy…True professionalism !

    Watched the show and it was really cool. The pictures from the craft in flight were great and the frozen ballon burst was awesome. Wish they made mention of JPA but we could see the van …sort of…and they did mention John by name a few times. GREAT JOB ALL!!
