One Sponsor for PongSat Mission Needed

We’re closing in on a total count of 800 student experiments on our next mission. The response has been so huge we’ve needed to add another vehicle to carry them all.
This has left of with a budget gap for these flights. We looking for one more sponsor for the mission. We need to raise $3,200. We are going to throw in a full size Edge of Space Ad (normally $4,200) for sponsoring this flight.

Mission Details:
Names: Away 47 and Away 48
Type: Balloon flights to 100,000 feet.
Payload: 800+ Student PongSat Experiments
Flight Date: April 2nd

Three CubeSats lost this morning on the unsuccessful Taurus launch from Vandenberg AFB. Very sad. Fingers and toes crossed these PongSats make it! Mission update? Money coming in? Launch date still 2nd April? What’s the backup date?

No new sponsor yet, but a lot more PongSats! We’ve been working the schedule with the team and April 9th looks like the flight date.

Is the Pup ready to fly chase? What’s the surface like at the Empire airport? (FAA info simply specifies “dirt.” What you’d rather know is “prop damage probability…”) Or will you just use the dry lake bed surface?

If launch is 9th or a subsequent Saturday you might have just got yourself a makeshift ATCT. (2nd I’m in Florida.) I’ve got a tiny handheld GPS I can let you borrow, too. (Moving map, baby!) It mounts to a bracket and is stable and easy to use. I’m guessing Ed and any of your other hardcore pilots are going to be busy doing other duties. Be a pleasure to be your eyes on the ground if needed. You give me position reports and I’ll plot you on a sectional. Nearly as good as mode C!
