While making our plans for PongSats to space I came across these pics of two very cool PongSats. These flew about two years ago.

    Hello John!

    The uppermost pictures show the PongSat-18X (codenamed NLSE-1) that my son and I built/programmed almost three years ago and has been – and still is – subject of regular discussions with my colleagues, friends etc. This might have been the first computerized PongSat that managed to function the whole trip up and down because of the special battery used (LiPo) to deal with very low temperatures.     Thanks John for this marvelous opportunity. It is nice to see that the PongSat program is alive and kickong, I have actually started preparations for a new series of PongSats, one of them (NLSE-2) will be even more advanced than the NLSE-1, I’ll get in contact soon
