The changes we made in the firing procedure really paid off. The test went smooth and we got a great data set.

MHD System Testing
Yesterday we tested the coil system for the next plasma rocket engine test firing. This is the 35mm gap test at 105,000 volts. Nothing like a little high voltage for Christmas.

Last night we had the privilege of doing a model rocket launch for the opening ceremony of the new Katherine Johnson Middle School. Sometimes the little lift offs are the most important.
