What’s Happening at JPA

Team JPA
It went that way! The Away 133-135 Balloon Flight Team. Tired and smiling. Six months of work ending with an intense three days in the desert.
-
Success!
The team is back home safe and sound. Three flights, three recoveries. Peak altitude was over 103,000 feet.
These were the Away 133, 134 and 135 flights.

1st Crewed Operation
It was a big day for JP Aerospace. Our first crewed operation. This was the 2nd in the water test of our AI Sub, ‘Bellavia’. This time it had me on board. We were running full life support & really put her through her paces. The team was amazing. Going to have goose bumps for a week. -
Facilities
NASA neutral buoyancy laboratory and the JP Aerospace neutral buoyancy laboratory. Basically the same thing. I know it’s hard to tell the difference sometimes.

Submarine Ballast Tank Work
We pulled all the ballast tanks off our submarine and took them to the pool for testing. The seals were great but the valve unions need replacing.
