I&#8217;m still chasing why.<\/p>\n<p>This is what I&#8217;ve tried so far:<\/p>\n<p>Reloading a new version of comments.php<\/p>\n<p>resetting permalinks to default setting<\/p>\n<p>Swapped themes<\/p>\n<p>Upgraded wordpress<\/p>\n<p>Verified &lt;? php comments template();?&gt; in single.php<\/p>\n<p>Turning off all the pluggins<\/p>\n<p>Disabled comments page breaks<\/p>\n<p>Disabled threaded comments<\/p>\n<p>Verified that the wordpress address (URL) is correct<\/p>\n<p>Resetting the plugins folder<\/p>\n<p>Up loaded new wp-admin and wp-include folders from a fresh download of wordpress<\/p>\n<p>Increased available memory<\/p>\n<p>I think I&#8217;ve stumped the wordpress forum.<\/p>\n<p>Any ideas out there?<\/p>\n<p>jpowell@jpaerospace.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The comment system has been down for two days now.
