Engine Breakthrough: Ablative Graphene Electrode
They worked!!!! We’re bouncing off the walls! We did the 1st firing of the ablative graphene electrodes in the MHD plasma engine unit. The electrodes ablated away removing fouling & kept electrically connected to the plasma during the entire run. Implications for the whole field.

As we get ready for our 200th flight I think back about some of the really great flights we’ve had. This mission always comes to mind. These were a series of flights where we launch 5 balloon in one morning and two on another. They carried dozen of experiment for the airship to orbit program, a few customer payloads to pay for it all and over 2400 PongSat student experiments.
